New York City office seeks junior to mid- level insurance/reinsurance attorney having 2-4 years of experience, preferably with familiarity of and experience in insurance coverage law. The candidate will be responsible for: drafting pleadings and briefs; drafting correspondence to colleagues and clients; drafting opinion letters for clients; conducting legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis; drafting interrogatories; reviewing document collections in preparation for litigation; attending depositions; submitting filings to the court; attending Bar Association events for potential business development; file organization; and maintaining CLE credit. Should have a J.D./LL.M. degree preferably with a concentration in insurance/reinsurance. Should be admitted to practice in New York.
