Azerbaijan International University was founded in 1997 in Baku. It is one of the largest private universities with more than 6000 students. Azerbaijan International University offers a wide range of subjects to study. The medium of instruction is Russian or Azerbaijani but a great attention is paid to teaching of English. The university grants bachelor and master PhD degrees in definite fields. Alongside the undergraduate and graduate programs some research centers have been established in Azerbaijan International University.
