The Bots university college law school is the first ever law school in Botswana to offer online law programs. We have made history in pioneering the extension of online law study making it widely accessible to all learners, by transcending all boundaries of the villages and urban centers in Botswana and the world, irrespective of place of residence, location of work, nationality, religion, race, age or gender.

The Department of Law, located in the Faculty of Social Sciences, is the section or unit of the University responsible for the teaching of courses in the subject Law. It is physically housed on the first floor of Block 230 on the south side of the University Library. The Department offers the following programmes: the Diploma in Law (DIL), the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and the Master of Laws (LLM). The Department also offers special law courses to students registered under selected programmes in the faculties of Business, Education, Engineering and Social Sciences.
