Mr. Scupp was admitted to the practice of law in New York in 1983. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Pace University, Master of Arts from Rutgers University, and his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Bridgeport School of Law. For the last twenty five years, his practice has been concentrated in the areas of matrimonial law and bankruptcy law.In addition to being admitted to the practice of law in courts of the State of New York, Mr. Scupp is also admitted to practice in both the Eastern and Southern Districts of the Federal Courts in New York. There, Mr. Scupp has effectively litigated thousands of complex commercial and personal financial matters.
During his twenty five years of practicing law, Mr. Scupp has represented clients in all areas of matrimonial and family law. Although always striving to amicably settle cases, Mr. Scupp has successfully litigated hundreds of matrimonial and Family Court matters.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Scupp was a high school teacher and guidance counselor. His experience as a former educator and guidance counselor has been particularly helpful to his clients in cases involving child custody, visitation, and child support. Mr. Scupp has insight to truly understanding a client’s needs while possessing the skill to represent their interests vigorously.
