Gary joined Stuarts in 2009 having previously worked for Mills & Reeve LLP and Wragge & Co LLP in England where he specialized in advising private equity funds, venture capital funds, large corporates and management teams on a range of transactions including leveraged buyouts, buy-ins, exits, development capital investments, mergers and acquisitions, disposals, and corporate re-organizations including being lead advisor to an international utility group on its £856 million corporate re-organization of its 6 UK based companies and their 25 overseas subsidiaries.
Gary graduated from University of Sheffield with a Bachelor of Laws Honors Degree in 1996 and from University College London with a Master of Laws Degree in Corporate and Commercial Law in 1997. He also passed the Legal Practice Course in 1998 with Distinction.
Gary was admitted as an attorney-at-law in the Cayman Islands in 2009 and was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales (but does not practice as an English solicitor) in 2000.
