Doctor of Jurisprudence (with honors) at the Faculty of Law at the Universidad de Guayaquil. He has served as Administrative Undersecretary of the Ministry of Government and Police of Ecuador, and served temporarily the duties of Undersecretary of Government. Acted as the President of the National Council of Social Rehabilitation, Member of the Committee on Modernization of Civil Registry and President of the National Committee for Monitoring Human Rights Plans of Ecuador. He served as Regional Manager of Banco del Estado (Development Bank) and Regional Coordinator of the Judiciary Modernization Project in Guayaquil. He participated as Director of the School of Banking and Finance “Tecnologico Espiritu Santo”. He acted as a Professor of International Trade at the Espiritu Santo University Law School and. Professor of Maritime Law (Universidad Metropolitana de Guayaquil). He has also acted as Proffesor of Franchising at the Catholic University of Ecuador. Participated in a post-graduate course in Conflict Resolution at the University of Uppsala, Sweden, co-authoring a paper on Government and Civil Society. Diploma in International Management at the Swedish Institute of Management and has participated in courses on Public Service Management, Leadership and Management in Economic Training in the Inca, in Costa Rica and Ecuador. He has served as President of the Ecuador Franchise Association, and also as President and Director of The Franchise Center TFC, a multinational corporation of franchise development. Director of Axis, public relations company. Conducted training on Lobbying in Washington DC and Sacramento (California) in the National Mexican Brotherhood, and Latin Brotherhood in Washington DC, and studied and volunteered in Immigration Law issues in the United States.
