Attorney Lutz Auffenberg is in charge of WINHELLER's departments insurance law and real estate law. He advises providers – for instance intermediaries, counsels, estate agents, property developers and fund initiators, as well as customers like substantial individuals and institutional investors. In the field of real estate law his work concentrates especially on closed property funds, real estate transactions and commercial tenancy law. In regard to insurance law Lutz Auffenberg is the first contact person for our clients especially in terms of disability insurances and life insurances. Since his main fields of practice overlap with securities law, he also advises aggrieved investors in cooperation with Atty. Andreas Warkentin.In addition to this Lutz Auffenberg leads the French Desk of our law firm: He attends to our French-speaking clients in their mother tongue. He is often consulted for granting legal services in French language if a legal problem regards an area of expertise of one of his colleagues. He has a great number of contacts to colleagues in French-speaking countries, and is involved in the Belgian-German Lawyers Association.
Lutz Auffenberg studied law at Justus Liebig University, Giessen, Germany and Université de Liège, Belgium. For his further mandatory practical legal education he was employed by the Higher Regional Court Duesseldorf. Before his engagement for WINHELLER he worked for a traditional law firm in the field of business law in Duesseldorf and in the legal department of a big corporation in Hamburg.
