Compliance Programs to Manage Changing Enforcement Risks
October 1, 2013
CLE - Live Webcast
USA
Description
Government contractors are facing unprecedented scrutiny of contract performance and of compliance with the multitude of associated regulations. As the ways in which contractors can be deemed non-compliant multiply, the penalty for failure, ranging up to suspension or debarment from government contracting, looms larger. This panel will explore how government contractors are dealing with this regulatory pressure and enforcement risk.
Planned topics include:
• How to develop an effective, vital, and affordable ethics program
• How to address ethics and compliance training for your supply chain
• How the mandatory disclosure rule and the new business systems rule, coupled with its threat of withholding payment, have changed the compliance landscape
• What are best practices for companies responding to a subpoena from an agency inspector general
• How agencies approach suspension, debarment, and other remedies
This program is an audio rebroadcast of a program first presented at the 2013 ABA Annual Meeting in San Francisco, CA. Course materials will be provided and faculty will be available at the end of the program for updates and live Q&A with the audience.
