Description
A report released in February 2013 by the National Audit Office revealed that the UK IT skills shortage means that Britain could have trouble defending itself from cyber-attacks over the next 20 years*.
Ranked as number four in the top thirteen 'cyber-mature' countries, the UK Government has also placed cyber threats (to infrastructure) within the top-ten risks faced by the UK and with over 2 billion internet users world-wide the need to protect our digital identities has never been more important.
But how do you protect yourself from cyber threats? The UK Government claims there are 1000 cyber-attacks perpetrated every hour and the frequency of successful cyber-attacks has more than doubled over the last three years.
Can you ensure that you're not one of the unlucky one's that becomes another statistic?
