Description
This workshop is hosted by the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the World Intellectual Property Organization. The purpose of this Workshop is to provide intensive basic training of a practical nature for party representatives in arbitration and for arbitrators. The training, conducted by experienced international arbitrators, will focus on the main principles of international commercial arbitration law and practice, with particular reference to the practical case application of the WIPO Arbitration and WIPO Expedited Arbitration Rules in intellectual property and technology disputes. The arbitration rules of other arbitration institutions are also referred to for purposes of comparison. CLE/CPD credits on request.
Additional Information
All participants who complete the program will be awarded a certificate of participation. Those who have applied for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) or Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credit will receive a special certificate for this purpose.
