Conflicts of Interest for Lawyers in the 21st Century: How to Identify and Avoid Them
May 21, 2013
CLE - Live Webcast
USA
Description
A distinguished panel of legal ethics experts, whose practices and researches have a significant focus on conflicts of interest, will offer a primer on how to foresee situations where conflicts typically arise, avoid them before they do arise, and deal with them after they do arise, all with minimal anxiety or harm to the lawyers and clients involved.
The discussion will include specific provisions of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct and provisions of California’s ethics statutes and rules, as well. The panel will aim for breadth of coverage, but the collective experience and wisdom of the panelists guarantee depth.
