Description
Following Lord Justice Jackson's wide-ranging reforms to civil costs and funding - this seminar will be an opportunity to share latest thinking on how an evolving civil justice system is likely to impact on legal practitioners, consumers and businesses.
Sessions will bring together key policymakers and judicial representatives, alongside legal professionals, insurers, business associations, academics and consumer groups with an interest in civil litigation. Alongside the effect of Jackson's core recommendations on recoverability and the use of damages-based agreements, delegates will also consider wider components of Government's civil justice reforms.
Professor Paul Fenn, Aviva Chair of Insurance Studies, University of Nottingham and Author, Evaluating the low value Road Traffic Accident process; Alistair Kinley, Partner and Head of Policy Development, Berrymans Lace Mawer and Chair, Working Group on Technical Aspects of Jackson Implementation, Civil Justice Council and The Honourable Mr Justice Ramsey QC have agreed to deliver keynote addresses at this seminar.

The organisers reserve the right to alter the programme and change the speakers without prior notice. Westminster Forum Projects is unable to grant extended credit and therefore must request that full payment be made within 30 days from the date of invoice.
