Bus Accident Attorney - Charter Bus Crash in Yucaipa

Bus accident attorney Katherine Harvey-Lee spoke with KNBC 4 about the February 3, 2013 bus accident in Yucaipa, California. Why file an IVC Filter Lawsuit? IVC Filter Lawyer Nicole Maldonado Explains

IVC filters are thin, umbrella shaped metal devices that extend inside the inferior vena cava, the body’s largest vein. Inferior vena cava filters are supposed to stop blood clots from migrating to the lungs or heart, but hundreds of people in the U.S. have reported serious problems after the device has been implanted, prompting questions about whether IVC filters are safe.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has warned that IVC filters can migrate or fracture, causing serious injuries like heart damage, lung damage, internal bleeding and even death. Thousands of individuals who were implanted with an IVC filter may have been exposed to serious risk by this dangerous medical device.

The reported IVC filter side effects and complications include death, heart attack, stroke and pulmonary embolism, among many others.

If you or someone you know received an IVC filter and the device fractured, moved or has become irretrievable, contact an IVC filter lawyer at Baum, Hedlund, Aristei & Goldman today to discuss your case. You may be entitled to compensation.
