  • Midwest Association of Pre-Law Advisors (MAPLA)

    The Midwest Association of Pre-Law Advisors, MAPLA, promotes informed advising of students who are considering a legal career. Since the organization's inception in 1975, MAPLA has served as an effective vehicle for communication among professionals involved in pre-law advising and in the law school admissions process. MAPLA members advise students in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

  • Northeast Association of Pre-Law Advisors (NAPLA)

    NAPLA went online in 2000 extending its presence in the world of prelaw advising. It is hoped that the Associations web page will energize those members who do not regularly attend the regional meetings. As the Association grows it seeks to maintain its relationship to the members and to help them better serve their advisees.

  • Pacific Coast Association of Pre-Law Advisors (PCAPLA)

    The purpose of the organization shall be [1] to upgrade the skills of prelaw advisors; [2] to advocate the interests of undergraduate students and institutions in the counseling and admission precesses leading to law related careers; [3] to increase the line of communication amon prelaw advisors, individual law schools and the Law School Admissions Council.

  • Southern Association of Pre-Law Advisors (SAPLA)

    SAPLA is an organization that brings together pre-law advisers and law school admissions staff in an effort to provide everyone in the law school admissions process with up-to-date information and expert guidance. Deciding to go to law school, preparing for the application process, deciding where to send applications, and selecting which law school to attend, are all difficult and important decisions. We believe that everyone considering a career in the law can benefit from expert pre-law advising and our aim is to insure that it is available.

  • SouthWest Association of Pre-Law Advisors (SWAPLA)

    The Southwest Association of Pre-Law Advisors is an organization comprised of pre-law advisors from colleges and universities throughout the southwestern United States. Each year, SWAPLA sponsors a Law School Caravan that tours throughout the region, bringing the best law schools to several locations. SWAPLA also facilitates networking amongst prelaw advisors, between prelaw advisors and students, students and law school professionals, and between advisors and law school professionals.

  • Western Association of Pre-Law Advisors (WAPLA)

    The purpose of the organization shall be: 1. To enhance the skills of pre-law advisors; 2. To advocate the interests of undergraduate students and institutions in the counseling and admissions processes leading to law related careers; and 3. To promote communication between pre-law advisors, individual law school admissions officers, and Law School Admissions Council, the Educational Testing Service, and other law-related organizations. These purposes will be accomplished through periodic meetings, through training of new pre-law advisors, and through such other means as the organization may devise.
